Rising Sun resident Cory Dorner, 35, is facing charges for the sexual solicitation of a minor, possession, and distribution of child porn following his arrest on Tuesday.
An investigation was launched in April following a tip about the possession and distribution of illicit materials online.
On Oct. 15, the Maryland State Police Computer Crimes Unit served a search warrant at Dorner's Cecil County home, where they seized his electronic devices, which "revealed multiple images of child pornography."
Dorner was charged with two counts of sexual solicitation of a minor, as well as one count each for possession, and distribution of child pornography.
He's being held at the Cecil County Detention Center without bond.
Investigators say they believe there may be additional victims.
